Summary
Duo is a third-party software that provides for multi-factor authentication. NDUS campuses moving to implement Duo with Office 365 email in order to add an extra layer of security.
Most modern email applications will work with Duo enabled on Office 365 email. However, most older email applications and native mobile apps (Mail on Android, Mail on iOS) will not work. Please check the table below to see if your email client will work (if you are not sure if your institution is using Duo, please contact your local help desk).
