Adding Devices to Duo 

 

Windows Hello 

 

You will need to have Windows Hello setup on your computer to be able to add it to Duo.

If you have not setup Windows Hello on your computer yet, you will need to do that before continueing with this process.

 

To add a device to your Duo account, you can log into 2fa.ndus.edu where you will be presented with your current devices and the choice to add a device.

You will need to click the "Add a device" button bringing up the device options prompt.

From this menu, you will choose the Windows Hello option which will present you with a confirmation prompt.

After clicking continue, you will be prompted with a Face ID prompt

Once you are looking at the camera and it recognizes you, you will be prompted to click ok to continue.

 If you look away from the camera before you click ok, it will go back to waiting for you to look at the camera again.

You can also click on the More Choices option to be presented with a prompt to enter your Windows Hello PIN instead if you choose.

After either registering your Face ID or entering your PIN successfully, you will be prompted that a passkey was saved.

Clicking ok will then bring up a prompt letting you know Windows Hello was successfully added to Duo.

Clicking Continue will finish the process.
