Adding Devices to Duo 

 

Security Key/ Security token

 

To add a device to your Duo account, you can log into 2fa.ndus.edu where you will be presented with your current devices and the choice to add a device.

You will need to click the “Add a device” button bringing up the device options prompt.

From this menu, you will choose the Security key option which will bring up a prompt confirming you want to add a security key.

You will click continue and you will be prompted by Windows to allow Duo to see your security key make and model.

Clicking ok will prompt you again by Windows to confirm your setting up a security key and to confirm the user its being assigned to.

Clicking Ok will then start the setup process. If your Security key has a PIN, you will be prompted to enter it now.

After entering your PIN and clicking OK, you will then be prompted to touch your Security key to activate it.

After you touch your Security key, you will be prompted with a success from Windows.

Clicking Ok will then bring up a prompt from Duo confirming your key has been added.

You have now successfully added your Security key to Duo. Click Continue to finish the process.
